Amy Rogers has compiled a touching
snapshot of Southern culture, its food. Hungry for Home reveals not only
the recipes of the South, but underscores the importance of food in the
culture, in the home, and often, its origin. The edition includes many
well-known Southern authors, such as Lee Smith, Clyde Edgerton, and Wingate's
own Sylvia Little-Sweat. Published by local Novello press, inviting this
author provides the campus with the opportunity to hear a local, yet renowned
author. The Friends of the Library is very excited about the upcoming
events.
