This is the large desk located in the main entrance area (the lobby)
of the library. Staff at this desk will be able to help you to check-out
and check-in circulating materials, answer general questions, make
change, and direct you to the Library’s resources.
Reserve Materials are also found at this location.
The Reference Desk
A professional Librarian is seated at this desk that will help
you with your reference questions. This is also the desk where you
would request assistance with the computerized data on NCLive and
Internet searching or information regarding the Library’s holdings.
The Periodicals Desk
Student Assistants at this desk will be glad to help you locate
a back issue of a magazine/periodical. Fill out the yellow slip
labeled
Periodical Request, hand it to the Student Assistant, and the
issue you require will be retrieved. Videos and CDs can also be
obtained at this desk. These materials are not to be removed from
the Library.
