Featured Student Assistant for March 2013

Elizabeth is a junior majoring in Secondary Education/Social Studies, with a minor in Chemistry. She has worked at the library for two years, and has a great rapport with both staff and patrons.  Elizabeth stays busy on campus with Sigma Sigma Sigma,  Campus Outreach, and Phi Eta Sigma. She also holds leadership positions for the College Panhellenic Council, SGA, and Summer Orientation. Originally from Greensboro, Elizabeth enjoys watching movies and hanging out with her friends. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in teaching for Department of Defense schools.


Hours in Observance of Easter

The Library will be closed for much of Easter weekend.  Details are as follows:

  • Thursday, March 28th: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday, March 29th-Sunday, March 31st: Closed
  • Monday, April 1st: 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The Library’s regular schedule will resume on Tuesday, April 2nd.

Database MaintenanceIn order to add capacity and improve the reliability and performance of  its services, OCLC will be performing proactive maintenance to core network components on Sunday March 17th  between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
