EKS Librarians Attend North Carolina Library Association Conference

EKS Librarians Marilyn Brown, Debbie Hargett, Amee Odom, and Greta Wood recently attended the 58^th biennial conference of the North Carolina Library Association (October 6-9, 2009) in Greenville, North Carolina. This year’s conference theme was “North Carolina Libraries: Serving Knowledge…Serving You.” Over 500 academic, public, and school librarians were registered for the 3-day event. Keith Michael Fiels, Executive Director for the American Library Association (ALA), delivered the opening keynote address and the State Librarian of North Carolina, Mary Boone, provided the closing session address.
