Invasive Pythons in the United States

Join the Friends of the Ethel K. Smith Library for something completely different as we host Dr. Michael Dorcas and his fifteen foot python, Carmelita, in this fascinating Lyceum event on Monday, November 5th at 6:30 p.m. in the McGee Theatre of the Batte Fine Arts Center.  Dr. Dorcas will discuss his research on the invasive Burmese Python in the United States. Dr. Dorcas has published seven books, including Invasive Pythons in the United States and Snakes of the Southeast.
