A Concert Play Reading of A Christmas Carol
The Friends of the Ethel K. Smith Library host Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, as presented by the readers of Waxhaw’s Storefront Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 8th at 7:30 p.m. in the Plyler-Griffin Recital Hall of the Batte Fine Art Center. In Judy Simpson Cook’s adaptation for three voices, you will once again relive Scrooge’s discovery of the true meaning of Christmas, meet the generous Mr. Fezziwig, beautiful Belle, and the irrepressible Tiny Tim. Voicing all the characters are Melvin Faris, Judy Simpson Cook, and David Michael.
