Student Assistant Spotlight

In this month’s Student Assistant Spotlight are two Wingate University juniors Krishma Manandhar and Mary Garabedian.

Krishma is a Business Finance major from Kathmandu, Nepal. She has lived in the United States for seven years with an American family in Weddington, North Carolina. Krishma is currently an RA in Cannon Dorm. She is involved with the International Club, is a Presidential Ambassador, and is in Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, Delta Mu Delta, and Leadership Fellows. She likes working for the Library because it is where one can excel in academics and meet new people; she has met some of her best friends through working at the Library. She is also looking forward to going home to Nepal to visit with her family in May.

Mary Garabedian is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in Business Management. Mary has a strong background in music, as she has been playing the violin for thirteen years. She is very involved with Wingate University. She is a sister of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority, serves as a representative to the Wingate University Music Student Advisory Council, and is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and the Order of Omega. Mary works with Mrs. Williams in the Periodicals Department as an assistant, she also has performed on the violin for the annual Spring FOL Luncheons.
