EBSCO Full-Text Maintenance

EBSCO will be performing scheduled maintenance from October 19^th at 11:00 p.m. to October 20^th at 3:00 a.m. on its e-journal full-text access servers.

Direct access to articles from EBSCO’s linking services will be unavailable for the following list of publishers:

• National League for Nursing
• American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP)
• Intellect Ltd
• Massachusetts Institute of Technology Press (MIT Press)
• College of Business and Public Affairs
• e-Med
• IUPAC
• NRC Research Press

ProQuest Maintenance: New Date

ProQuest will be performing infrastructure maintenance on Saturday, September 29^nd, 2012. A twelve hour maintenance window will be required in order to install the latest enhancements to the ProQuest platform. The window will take place from 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29^th to 10:00 a.m. Sunday, September 30^th. The following databases will be unavailable during this time:

• PQDT (Dissertation Abstracts)
• The Wall Street Journal

ScienceDirect Maintenace

ProQuest will be performing infrastructure maintenance on Saturday, August 18^th.  A twelve  hour maintenance window will be required for this maintenance. Read the rest of this entry »

ProQuest Maintenance

ProQuest will be performing infrastructure maintenance on Saturday, June 30, 2012.  A twelve  hour maintenance window will be required for this maintenance to install the latest enhancements to the ProQuest platform. The window will take place from Saturday, June 30 at 10:00 p.m. to Sunday, July 1 at 10:00 a.m.  Databases affected include:

• The Wall Street Journal
• ProQuest Dissertations and Thesis (formally Dissertation Abstracts).

ScienceDirect Maintenance

Elsevier announced that it will performing an upgrade operation on Saturday, March 17^th for ScienceDirect. The purpose of this upgrade is to increasing search speed and article rendering.  It should also resolve  a problem some users have seen with  PDF downloading and RSS feeds.  Expect ScienceDirect to be off-line between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. that day.

Periodicals by Title Maintenance

EBSCO announced that Periodicals by Title will be unavailable on 16 March from 10:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. to allow for necessary maintenance.
