Mergent Intellect “Session Expired” Issue

Mergent IntellectUpdate 17 April 204:21:30:  NC LIVE received reports of libraries having issues accessing Mergent’s First Research industry reports within the Mergent Intellect interface from off-campus/outside of the library.  The vendor implemented several new servers which impacted the way First Research was being proxied. After talking with Mergent’s technical support staff, NC LIVE staff identified several changes that needed to be made to proxy configurations. These changes have been to the local Wingnet services.
NC LIVE has received reports of a problem occurring with the use of the Mergent Intellect database.
Users are able to authenticate and search within Mergent Intellect. However, while viewing results, some users are seeing a “Session Expired” message, and are prompted to login again.
NC LIVE staff have reported this problem to Mergent technical support and are working with them to identify a resolution.


Mergent Intellect Down

Mergent IntellectMergent Intellect is currently experiencing access issues. When a user clicks on the Intellect link, the resource website does not load, and the user is left on the NC LIVE transition page. Mergent technical staff been notified of this issue and are working to resolve it.

6:15 p.m. Mergent Intellect is back up.
